The Trump admin in a nutshell; in order to justify their own mistake, they’re going to release a violent felon with five deportations so he can testify against the guy with no criminal record they mistakenly deported.

In other words, the story is always more important than the principle.
The Trump admin has freed Jose Hernandez Reyes because he can testify against Abrego Garcia.

Hernandez, who has been deported 5 times, has also been arrested for:

—DUI w/ a handgun;
—cocaine possession;
—illegally transporting migrants; and
—drunkenly firing a gun.

Star witness against Kilmar Abrego García was due to be deported. Now he’s being freed.
Jose Ramon Hernandez Reyes is a three-time felon released early from federal prison to a halfway house in exchange for testifying against Kilmar Abrego García.

I wish countries like Djibouti would have the courage to arrest ICE officers and their military pilots for human trafficking.
Here’s a radical idea:

Don’t transport people in shipping containers.

Pretty sure it’s considered inhumane and human trafficking.

Unbelievable 🤦🏼‍♀️

I agree. Getting shunned is too good for him. He should be in prison.
Good, he should actually be in prison for illegally accessing sensitive data and personal info. I hope he’s shamed and shunned forever. FAFO.

This is your regular reminder that executive orders are not royal decrees. Because America has no king.

Wow. Just wow. Maybe this will get the attention of Congressional Republicans.
Since Trump took office:

Dow: DOWN 13.8%
Nasdaq: DOWN 20.5%
S&P: DOWN 15.5%

This.
The fact that an entire administration and fully 40% of America thinks it’s ok to send people to a concentration camp in the middle of nowhere,

without an OUNCE of evidence they committed a crime is INSANE!

It’s more shocking and frightening than anything I have seen from my countryman.

This is a manufactured crisis caused by (1) lack of any meaningful immigration law reform since the 1980s with Republicans choosing to politicize the issue instead, and (2) underfunding and understaffing immigration courts causing a huge backlog of cases.
If anyone you know in ICE tells you they’re “just following orders” remind them of the following:

- they can read

- they’re aware of the SCOTUS ruling and numerous injunctions around the illegality of what they’re doing

- feigning ignorance will not soften their place in history…or in America.

This.
If your plan is to keep your head down and hope it goes away, I can show you all of human history why it won’t work.

If it’s to capitulate and hope they ignore you, I can show you thousands of Trumpers who’ve already lost their jobs & savings.

Fighting back isn’t an option.

It’s the only option.

If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Resist or resign.
“It’s more more personal. It’s their personal safety that they’re afraid of, and they have spouses and family members saying, ‘Do not do this, it’s not worth it, it will change our lives forever. We will have to hire around-the-clock security.’ Life can be very uncomfortable for your children.”

Meta has disabled the Friends of USAID Instagram and FB groups, presumably due to pressure from the Trump regime. Too many horror stories from far flung places including a pregnant hemorrhaging USAID wife denied medevac. Read this horrifying affidavit s3.documentcloud.org/documents/25...

Unbelievably cruel and inhumane.
JUST IN: Another medical horror story in an affidavit from a USAID employee stationed overseas. Says his pregnant wife was not medevac-ed for emergency health care because of directives from DC. Took intervention of a U.S. senator to reverse — but was too late. s3.documentcloud.org/documents/25...
