Slowly coming to terms with the idea that authoritarianism might well be good for Americans to experience firsthand. In order to appreciate what they had.

Without this painful chapter, America would probably never be able to extricate itself from its culture of dispositional greed.

Anyway if you read a Russia analysis that doesn't center siloviki class interests are one of the driving engines of the Russian state and policy, you're not reading a Russia analysis
Why do the Russians seemingly love the Tsar and hate democracy? Well, millions of them are hereditary members of a state-protected group that are guaranteed stage jobs of the 'go beat up your neighbor and extort them a bit' flavor. Democracy is counter-indicated to their class interests.

US Congresswoman ought to be more concerned about the fate of “Christians” stateside. They honor God with their words, but their hearts are far from Him.

It appears that the British establishment has come to terms with its position as the 53rd state of that godforsaken nation. 🤮
The Ministry of Defence has awarded Peter Thiel’s company Palantir a £240m contract—its biggest ever UK defence deal. Re-read Mark Wilding’s profile of the controversial company from our December issue.
How Palantir infiltrated the state

Half of Kyiv — almost six thousand high-rise homes — were left without heating in Kyiv after the russian massive attack.

It's minus 8 degrees Celsius now going down to minus 17 tomorrow night (!)

Could you imagine half of your city getting frozen by the terrorist state?

I cannot fathom why 4 successive PMs failed to be transparent about the need to increase taxes for defense. And guess what? Strengthen the army by fivefold. ASAP!

We are literally on the brink of all-out war, yet everyone still acts as if war is something that happens elsewhere. To lesser beings.

Witkoff and Kushner met with Dmitriev Wednesday to discuss the US peace plan, and the US wanted a clear response on it from Putin.

Last night, another war crime: the Russians killed a medic in a double-tap strike on a Kyiv residential high-rise.

Is that response clear enough??
