A pretty good analysis of the budget, and, as he says, not one that should throw us into an election at this uncertain time.

Ethiopia is emerging as an EV hub. Roughly 8% of cars in the nation are EVs, compared to about 2% in the US. In '24, it became the 1st nation to ban imports of most gas-powered cars, catapulting EV adoption. It derives about 97% of its electricity from hydropower.

Poilievre and his pals are the kind of people I would cross the street to avoid, so I do understand why some of his caucus would cross the floor.
Trump’s sock puppet!
Good question.

The Press lets him get away with so much! During the last election questions had to be submitted to him in advance, plus his team would only allow certain reporters to ask questions? Plus reporters had to be far away from him??

That’s exactly what Trump does.

Reckless Ford now plans to throw away $9 million on another pie-in-the-sky project that popped into his head. Even if this were feasible, there are better, less costly ways to improve traffic flow. We really can't afford Ford!

No-one wants anyone this incompetent to lead our country.
Omfg I missed this! I was wondering WTF the Bloc was involved.

Good God what is happening
“It’s an historic fuck-up”

Pierre Poilievre’s week couldn’t get any worse, and yet it did.

It will be a miracle if he even makes it to the leadership review.

YES!
The Notwithstanding clause needs to be taken a great deal more seriously than conservative premiers currently do. The moment it's used, it should be customary to trigger an immediate election to give the citizens whose rights have been revoked to either condone or condemn the government.

I know choices are hard but if we lose our economic sovereignty, we will lose all our climate, social and charter choices. A reduced climate action is still better than the climate destruction that would happen if we become dominated and controlled.
