I've finished this month's Point Horror and I'm now reading the bonus book for this month. I used to have a few of the BTVS books back in the day. So this will be a fun & quick re-read.

I realise I hadn't posted this. My little happy face!
I met Joe Hill last week at Waterstones in Cambridge. He signed his new novel, Heart Shaped Box and Basketful of Heads for me.
I think my expression tells you how happy I was. 🤣

Last night was the last of the 4 book events I had tickets for. My husband & I really enjoyed hearing Ned talk about all things cycling & what next now there is no free coverage of TDF.
Meeting Joe Hill this week was awesome. I've got 3 new books for my TBR. Where to start!?

What an absolute treat it was today to hear @spookypurcell.bsky.social talk about her about new book and all things gothic. Especially in the wonderful Dragon Hall, such a gorgeous venue.
I can't wait to read House of Splinters. Laura is so lovely & she liked my spooky top. 👻

My brother and I had a fantastic evening last night, we were fortunate enough to get tickets for @peteralanross.bsky.social here in little ol' Norwich. It was great to see how much my brother enjoyed it, a new author for him. I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into the new book. ❤️

November will mark the 6 month mark since my op. Hard during to recovery to imagine being at this point. Back to 4 times a week in the gym, moving near enough the same weight I was pre-op. My new PT is fantastic, he's pushing me, being careful where needed.

An exciting bookish week ahead.
I'm going with my brother to see @peteralanross.bsky.social on Thursday night at Norwich Waterstones.
Sunday I'll be off to see @spookypurcell.bsky.social at Dragon Hall.
I'm very much looking forward to both events. 🥰🥰

I finished reading The Forbidden last night & then I read The Madonna. Reading Clive Barker before bed will definitely give you funky dreams. 😂
I'm glad I picked up Vols 4-6 to dip into. Perfect spooky reading.

I've decided I'm going to read The Forbidden from the excellent Books of Blood as my next read.
I finished Coup de Grace last night. A very unusual little book!

A small pick up this week from the excellent Abstract Sprocket. The end of the month does seem to be quieter for me on the comic front.
Smaller pickup but fantastic books again this week. 😍

I started reading Coup de Grace yesterday, and I may well finish it today.
I decided to read some of the novellas in my TBR as they've been overlooked for too long.

She's very much a lap cat today.

I finished this today. I'm very much looking forward to book 2. The imagery in this book is just something else. I loved it.

I think the Paul Tremblay quote on the front really sums it up.
Currently reading Crypt of the Moon Spider.
I've seen this praised a lot by various book/horror accounts I follow.
