We recently found an online version of "Waiting for Godot in San Quentin," a short documentary of the 1988 San Quentin Godot production featuring an all-inmate cast.
Part of Global Village's The Beckett Project, produced/directed by John Reilly and Melissa Shaw-Smith.

Hearty congratulations to Jon Fosse, but we would be remiss if we did not share Beckett's "interview" after winning the prize himself.

Someone agreed to the interview on his behalf and he couldn't find a graceful way out, so he said he would only do it if he could pick what questions to answer.

I’m very excited to see this DH-adjacent project launched, which updates the Location Register of Beckett’s Letters with …. a *lot* of metadata. Indispensable for Beckett scholars.

(I also joined the advisory board last week! Or two weeks ago? Time’s weird.)
Now that the cat is out of the bag (the man is out of the urn?) we can't wait for everyone to see our new site, Chercher. It combines our Location Register with all of the contextual research we've done since the project started in the late 80s. Trust us, you won't be disappointed. 📜
