Yeah... decided to switch to a new/old PFP for a while. It's not recent, but one of my more flattering favorites. (Mattie the Wonder Horse from the last one deserves a li'l break time back at the barn...)

It and I am old enough that we used to call them 'avatars,' kids.

Expose them all. Men and women. The whole of it all. Make these people answer for what they did, and for what they covered up.
"There is a lot more." Rep. Garcia shares the DOJ is hoarding files from federal Epstein investigations. "Photographs, possibly videos, they have information we need to actually bring justice to the survivors and to implicate the wealthy and powerful men that abused and raped children and women."

You can't say we weren't warned.
Jack Kirby story from 1959 ("I Fought the Colossus," Strange Tales # 72) predicts AI would be developed by 2020 and that one major fear would be that it would start giving the wrong answers to questions and "wreck civilization." Gotta love the 1950s giant mainframes.

I do not think there is any other kind of scrolling at this particular time in human history.

(I added the adjective modifier—human—because all those trilobites sure did get finally deaded at the end of the Permian era. However, I don't think scrolling was something they did—they trundled.)
Hi, are you doomscrolling?

Some of y'all wouldn't believe the possible connection here.

All depends on whether in addtion to the game, he also asked for a little strategy guide help...

Was putting my face on and missed a call from my dad. Saw this text and called him back. (This is a nice story. Also his name is not Bob. That’s what the grandkids call him. Long and unrelated story.)

I can relate. Or as I suppose the kids these days say, "This is a mood."
In dark times it is easy to become overwhelmed, to feel helpless. That is what your enemies want. Defy them. Deny them this, and let that be your first step toward denying them victory, and then seizing it yourself.

Dinner brag: Seasoned roasted tilapia filet, topped with lemon zest and green chile salsa, and sides consisting of half a sliced red bell pepper (raw) and sauteed brown mushrooms with shallots, jalapeno, and garlic in an adobo sauce reduction. (317 calories, 40.4g of protein)

Something I did not know until I looked recently: A particular game strategy guide I co-authored was a best seller (in its category/genre of course) and probably sold upward of a quarter million copies. Including international sales.

Huh.

Potentially unpopular opinion: Habanero sauce goes surprisingly well with fresh red raspberries.

No, no, I'm not pregnant. Sometimes I just like to try unusual combos to see if they work.

I don't normally jump in on these kinds of things, but Oregon the DM was one of my first follows/follow-backs when I joined Bluesky back in the early "you need an invite to join" days. If you don't want to toss a few $, a little signal-boost would help.

I really shouldn't drink coffee in the evening, yet for some reason I've really been craving coffee lately. Like a lot.

Normally, I drink tea. All. The. Time. Didn't even have coffee for several years. Now I can't get enough.

Just got back from a week-long trip to visit family, and it was amazing, but I'm glad also to be back home.

Alas, this rambunctious fellow, Ranger (chocolate lab, 18mo, my brother's dog), accidentally pranged my right knee pretty hard a couple nights ago. He's both sorry and sad I had to go.

new from @kylietcheung.bsky.social in @teenvogue.com: recently, men have impersonated plainclothes ICE agents to assault women—only possible, she argues, because state agents commit violence with impunity.

"This phenomenon is only possible because of the outsized power that state agents have always had to abuse and control women and victims' bodies," argues Kylie Cheung.
