My husband drove me around to look at some Christmas lights tonight for a late birthday treat. It's the only thing I ever ask for my birthday. The deer in the first photo were HUGE. The house with the Disney cutouts wasn't as decorated as it usually is. The square also seemed less done-up.

Honestly, what is with these car commercials depicting new vehicles as Christmas gifts??? Is this a thing that actually happens? Or is it just the ultra rich? Feels really out of touch, to me.

Sister gifted my hubby and I tickets to see A Christmas Story: the Musical at the Fox theater in St. Louis. It is absolutely gorgeous. This is in the lobby area. The detail is stunning.

Today I discovered I still have old voice mails stored in my old Google voice account, including a voicemail from my late grandma. Gosh I miss her. Downloaded it and I'm saving it forever.

Roy's is an icon of #Route66 . Located in Amboy, CA. When we visited in 2021 it was a full service station. Let me know if it still is! The workers were lovely, and we traded some of our local soda (Ski) for a couple of theirs.
