Yeah, we had dinner at the Wagon Wheel in Needles, and drove into Oatman just after sunset. We didn't know about it. I was just thankful we were on the mountain side and not the edge side. 🤣🤣 We did almost zero research because we wanted to be surprised. We were definitely surprised. Lmao

The #Sidewinder is on the stretch from Oatman to Kingman. I've done it twice: the first time was at night, heading toward Kingman and we had no idea of it's existence. The second time we did it during the day. I don't know what was scarier: not being able to see the drop-off or seeing it. 😂 😂

I want to concentrate on the areas that we didn't get more time in when we went back in 2021, and see more of the hidden gems we kissed the first time. I have definitely fallen in love with the desert and the west. I wish I could travel more often!

I definitely will! I'm counting down the days until I travel it from end to end (10 months away 🤯). The plan is to travel from Chicago to Santa Monica and back to Chicago before heading back home.
