I think people complaining about the current #FaBtcg meta have remarkably short memories. This was one PQ season ago. One. This isn't even the height of MST degeneracy.
The current meta has a wider S tier, while also allowing every sort of deck to have a chance. Frankly, they should be applauded.

@lss-karol.bsky.social Question regarding Snyder. How late in the process was he abandoned? Because you can see all the warrior cards printed around his ability (fatal engagement, commanding presence, etc.) that are otherwise kinda dead, largely unplayable cards without it. Too late to adjust?

Considering quite how many handfuls of cards we've all seen go into the bin at the end of an armory, this is a great project worth celebrating @fabtcg.com.
So I run a #fabtcg commons and rares redistribution program in the UK (I collect unwanted bulk, sort it and send curated packages to new players.)
As of today I have sent out 20k cards, which is 41kg of bulk diverted from landfill 🥳

It's interesting watching the two separate types of reactions to the MPG reveals. People who don't play Guardian (or warrior) are going "but these cards are all terrible". While the guardians are quietly going "I can work with this. Exciting." You can see the gap in power levels there. #fabtcg

My guess that the #fabtcg PQ eligibility change is for the removal of ELO. The simplest change to the system would just make all events above skirmish level count towards World Champs points. Which would then has the side effect having Clements & co. haunting every PQ in the world.

One of my favourite things about #FaBTCG is that I can walk away from losing a T8 game at a warmup comp thinking I'd done my best, just didn't see the right card at the right time. But then lay at bed late at night, as I realise I'd fundamentally misplayed a turn halfway, and losing was all my fault

If I were a Labour strategist, I'd be terrified by this result. It shows (among other things) that pandering to both the centre-right and the big money donors, won't keep you in power when the majority still feel like they're struggling. Especially in context of how shallow their landslide was.
