not that the US automotive industry was in particularly great shape anyway but these 25 percent tarrifs would kill it. the parts being imported from Canada are essential chassis elements (like, you know, axles) and Mexico produces a LOT of automotive bits including wire harnesses

Ford has officially announced it will enter the Hypercar class in the FIA World Endurance Championship and compete for the overall win at the the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2027.
The new race car will be built to LMDh specifications.
