Reading up about another Harry Potter cult that once existed. Dumbledore's Army or DAYD. It was based on a fanfic that was basically "dark and edgy Deathly Hallows". It was supposed to be realistic and yet this reads like an episode of Happy Tree Friends lol.

UPDATE: Looks like there is a TikTok account has been confirmed to belong to the shooter and she had reposted videos of Aiden Hale. Started to suspect she was a part of the terminally online mass shooter fandom crowd.
Allegedly this was the account of the recent shooter in Canada. Can anyone verify this? I want to be sure because I remember when everyone linked an O9A Twitter account to the Annunciation shooter and it later turned out to be a different person. archive.is/imYze

I wouldn't say this is a full-blown cult, but there are cultish aspects. It's also not exclusive to Harry Potter people even though a lot of the people doing this are Harry Potter fans.
It reminds me of the folks on Reddit and 4chan who tried to create tulpas of My Little Pony characters.
