Just thinking of some of the books that really ignited my love of reading as a child in the late 70s and early 80s. Dad was a bin-man and he saved so many from the rubbish tip for us. Libraries and his job were vital in providing books when things were tough. 1/3

Where the sea meets the sky, that's where you'll find me 😍 days with not even a breeze are rare in #Orkney but as these thistle seeds proved, today was one of those days! It was rather warm at times walking down my favourite stretch of the West coast from Birsay to Skail bay today- but gorgeous!
