American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

Most of them don’t have it… simply because they don’t need it… they can pay out of pocket for medical care, and it’s pennies to them.

If you think ICE is bad now, wait until January when the budget increases by more than tenfold. We had a very limited window in which to act. It’s now closed. No one with visibility, power or wealth stepped up. The people have done the best we can. I’ll never give up.
