I really do think a plurality of the American people basically want a Republican president with roughly the same public policy as Barack Obama in 2012.

When I worked for the Michigan State House and helped get people back on Medicaid after they’d been kicked off it I was paid $25,000 a year.
Bari Weiss attended a fundraiser last night in NYC, attendee tells me. There was an auction item for dinner with her and wife Nellie Bowles. Several people cheered in approval, many others said after how gross it was. Bari shouted out “And you can make out with Nellie!” It ultimately sold for $55k.

I think it’s a sign of how a lot of us are Too Online (and/or how much certain assumptions about Democrats are baked in) that the average American thinks Chuck Schumer is roughly as far left as Mike Johnson is far right.

I think it’s a sign of how a lot of us are Too Online (and/or how much certain assumptions about Democrats are baked in) that the average American thinks Chuck Schumer is roughly as far left as Mike Johnson is far right.
I do not mean to dunk on this person but if you are actually concerned about state surveillance you would throw your phone into the ocean and delete all of your social media accounts, but I don’t see these people doing that.
