I see the misinformation machine is kicking up to support Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Israel amendment.
Advocates have a responsibility to be clear about what legislation does and doesn’t do. Her amendment did NOT cut off offensive aid to Israel. We shouldn’t pretend it does.

The Department of Defense has publicly stated the assessment is that Iran’s nuclear program was set back by 1-2 years.
That’s still several years short of the limits imposed by the JCPOA/Iran Nuclear Deal, which were due to sunset completely in 2031.
