While so many are spending time here raving about a certain politician’s corruption and venality, some politicians, like Senator Chris Murphy, are throwing sand in the gears of the Senate by making GOP senators vote on every piece of the BBB, on the record. Let us praise them for doing good.

Today is a good day to remember, and to say, that the #MeToo movement was right, and was righteous, and has been vindicated over and over again. There was no overreach. There was no excess. There was no they-went-too-far.

So much work remains to be done.

This, added to news about China’s lower CO2 emissions, makes a very cold day in SC a little warmer.

I understand being pissed. But blaming all Dems for the betrayal of seven (plus King[I] is not the answer. All but the following (upper right), including Schumer, voted “no.” Hassan, Sheen, and King brokered the deal.

ALSO JUST BECAUSE WE DID WELL THIS YEAR DOESN’T MEAN WE STAY HOME NEXT YEAR.

That one’s arguably even more important.

This is an important point.
When you see a smart person thoroughly invested in repeatedly misunderstanding something important, understand that it’s not so much about their capacity to comprehend. Their ignorance is a tool to discipline & control the thoughts and actions YOU are allowed to have.

You’ve seen that post from Trump advisor, Mike Davis, telling SNAP recipients to “get off your fat, ghetto asses.” What he and Trump won’t say: Abt 37% of SNAP recipients are white, 26% are Black, 16% are Latino. Most are children, elderly, or people with a disability. Racism grows on lies.
