When I worked at the ill-fated Gameloft NYC studio in 2006ish, they hired a QA tester that lived across the country. That person quit their job and moved to NYC, as one would. They came to the studio for their first day to find out that unbeknownst to them OR our studio, Paris HQ closed the role.
3 years ago today, Riot Games offered me a job making more money than I ever thought I’d make in my life. I had 19 interviews over 2.5 months to get it. Partner and I were moving to LA for it. I put in notice at my job and apartment.
2 weeks later they rescinded the offer due to “headcount issues”.

Bullshit. If Dems can hold GOP "fiercely accountable" for this, why haven't they done so all in the past year? Either this is another placating lie and they are impotent, or they have power but have chosen to do fuck all with it up to now.
1. We need to fight hard for a good ACA extension early in December and hold Republicans fiercely accountable if they betray everyone.

The thing people need to realize is that the Dem party is not an opposition party. It's a right wing party with better social optics. This may not be true for individual Dems, but the party as a structure is rotten. Less than a week ago we showed them what we want and this is how they respond.
