Not that anyone here needs to hear this, but for the record, in a democracy "people voted differently from the way I expected or hoped" does not constitute evidence of fraud, no matter how many pretty charts and graphs of "voting patterns" you make.

I learned an important lesson today. If you start a question with “if we wanted to be petty about this..”, my technological astute colleagues will absolutely come ideas that are both wildly petty and technologically feasible.
And no we won’t be implementing any of them

So let me get this straight. For profit businesses are attempting to be good members of their respective communities and the party of “small government” is using their power to club them back in line. 🤬🤬🤬
The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

The breadth of "You have no idea what crazy shit we've tried and shelved decades ago, youngling. Your stupid idea is both stupid and not new. Better people than you have been this stupid." in the nuclear weapons program is quite impressive.

Not to be cringe, but I'm surprised I am emotional seeing the East Wing demolition. My first job in DC was interning and going to meetings there regularly. I learned everything about it while giving guided tours. The beauty of the East Wing is that everyone can go there. It's America's house.

Wanna know why Sam Altman and Elon Musk and Peter Thiel all LOVED Eliezer Yudkowsky, right up until they ignored him?
It’s because he was USEFUL to their efforts to attract funding and talent to their new companies.

CISA has fallen.
On CISA media call just now to discuss the F5 hack and source code breach, CISA staffer interrupted the discussion to blame the Democrats for the government shutdown and forcing workers to work without pay
