NEW Atop El Castillo, Chichen Itza's largest pyramid, stand two ruined columns that once portrayed the feathered serpent deity K’uk’ulkan. 3D-imaging technologies have identified scattered fragments of these columns, allowing a digital reconstruction.

I'm an #archaeologist & a #Democrat. My "family values" don't include having 7+ children, telling my wife how to vote, ostraczing LGBTQ+ friends/acquaintances, or refusing to help people in need. I grew up in a community that often gathered to reroof a neighbor's home or build a house for newlyweds.
