But please, do continue to use GenAI slop thumbnails for your YouTube videos, or your album art, or your book covers or whatever else. I'll continue to refuse to watch/listen/read any of them, knowing already they're not worth the time & that you're a disappointing lazy hack.
‘Children's book illustrator isn't a job anymore.’ I've been out of work for a while now. I made children's book illustrations, stock art, and took various art commissions. Now I have several maxed out credit cards and use a donation bin for food. I haven't had a steady contract in over a year. two weeks ago, when a client who has switched to AI found out about this he gave me $50 out of "a sense of guilt." Basically pity for the fact that Illustrator, as a job, does not exist anymore. It was my birthday recently and I sincerely considered not living anymore. The worst part of all is that the parents who once supported me fully in being an artist sent me an AI generated picture of a caricature of themselves holding a birthday cake with my name spelled incorrectly.

Extraordinarily corrupt. I watched FCC chair Brendan Carr's full interview on Hannity. Carr basically said straight out that coverage of Trump he deems overly hostile can be decreed contrary to the "public interest," and thus grounds for yanking licenses:

Some new outfits I made Tenko this year in preparation for Artfight 🎩

A collection of 6 images of my main mascot magical cat Tenko wearing different outfits. The outfits are: None (showing his base colors). PumpkinCat (default) which is a purple black and orange Halloween inspired outfit with witch hat and cape. Dusk ~ Lila which is a purple masked outfit with wide brim hat and feather, boots and cape. Dusk ~ Amber which is an orange/red alternate color of the Lila outfit. Frost ~ A winter style outfit in light blue and white with silver bells, fluffy brim witch hat, icicle pumpkin and fluffy pom poms. Dark Autumn ~ A night autumn theme outfit with witch hat, pumpkins, leaves and frills. The colors are orange with darker brown/black tones and cream colored lace details. They also have a pumpkin with a witch hat on the tip of their hat and a pumpkin night themed brooch. Circus ~ A circus themed outfit in red, white, black and yellow colors with a pumpkin jester staff. Crystal Curse ~ A dark purple and yellow themed outfit around ouija, crystals and dark matter. Celestial ~ A Galaxy/star inspired outfit mostly in dark starry blues with moons, suns, stars and gold accents.
