If I had a nickel for every time one of my cats got sick and needed hospitalization right after a natural disaster, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

Her Mom has been in the ICU since September. They can no longer keep up with the medical bills & would greatly appreciate some help.

The text says: My mother has been in the ICU since September 27 due to sepsis from an infected foot, which worsened her heart failure, pleural effusion, heart blocks, and diabetes. She has been on dialysis for septic blood and underwent a left leg amputation on October 2 to stop the infection. She asked that this be her last hospitalization, and we promised her it would be, so we’re doing our best to meet all her needs despite her fragile condition. Our resources have been exhausted after several hospitalizations earlier this year, and we’re struggling with the rising medical costs (currently at Php 600,000 or $10,000 and still running). All proceeds from this page will go directly to her hospital bills and medicines. Any amount of help means so much to us.
