Potential far beyond what your precious agency could ever give.” Robotnik turned, heels snapping together with a sharp click that echoed loudly in the sterile space. “Is this really what you want for the rest of your life? Sent off on one errand after another – weeks in the dust and dirt, chasing down the latest petty mosquito that dared to bite Uncle Sam? Wham, bam, thank you ma'am, and it's back to headquarters like a good little boy for your pat on the back and a band-aid over the bullet holes so you can do it all again next week?” A flick of Robotnik’s wrist and something flared to life, so sudden and bright that Stone closed his eyes. When he opened them, it was his own face he saw, repeated dozens of times in holographic detail on the monitors before him. Long strings of text followed. Names, dates, events he remembered all too well. “I've read your files. All of them – yes, even the classified ones.” The doctor continued. “You have half a brain, Stone, which is half a brain more than most.
