this omg like sterilisation of the image of mental illness is not the solution.
I love when people say like "uh mental illness doesn't make people say problematic things" as if mental illness isn't embedded in a cultural context with taboos and values. It doesn't necessarily excuse things but like what do you think mental illness actually is beyond being sad or anxious
