In case anyone in your life thought that defunding the Department of Education wouldn't have direct impacts on students: They have now directly caused cuts in funds for Wisconsin that support deaf and blind students and special education:

In case you weren't aware, Minnesota has a program called Lawns to Legumes. It gives people money to plant native plants or convert grass lawn into bee friendly flowering lawn. We were selected last year and we're able to plant a bee lawn in our front yard bwsr.state.mn.us/l2l
