Global outrage over Gaza has reinforced a ‘siege mentality’ in Israel – what are the implications for peace?
This siege mentality may have undermined more proactive Israeli Jewish public support for a ceasefire and ‘day-after’ concessions when the conflict finally ends.

I don't think even the Russians would dare to do this
Now that Diplomats are in the firing line, alongside babies, children, women, doctors, nurses, aid workers, volunteers and journalists, maybe, just maybe international leaderships will DO something other than be gravely concerned.

Expel Israeli ambassadors, enforce sanctions and cease trade

Firing on children, women and now diplomats. When a country crosses every red line and the world fails to act, it emboldens the worst regimes on the planet. This is a global disaster. Sanctions, weapons bans, action.

Really sorry that the vote seemingly has not gone Zoe's way. I hope the good work she did on calling for sensible tax reform finds a home in the new parliament
The result in Goldstein is obviously close and it will be some days before the result is confirmed.

I again thank the voters of Goldstein for their support as well as the many volunteers who worked tirelessly on my campaign.
