while super has its flaws, i really really love how much it manages to split the difference between fun shonen fights and gag antics and the result is like a wacky family sitcom where they shoot beams. the satan/buu stuff is definitely the genesis of that

I'm really into the idea that you can leverage an aesthetic for the sake of self-development and education (dark/light academia, etc). If it gets you reading literature, practicing analytical thinking skills and formulate yourself better, then you should lean into it. Vibes are powerful
