It’s time for an introduction. My name is Lana. I’m proudly South African. A simmer since 2004 (20 years wow) and I rant about other fandom things too. Sims 2 is my fave sims iteration. Sims 4 is awesome for the supernatural gameplay and I have a very soft spot for sims 3. I’ll post a bit of all

Stardew Valley is in the top 20 highest selling video games of all time. It was made by one guy. It's about to outsell Call of Duty MW. It sold 41 million copies. It costs only $15. No micro-transactions or paid DLC. It has had 6 free major updates. Turns out making good games is good business.

When sims 4 team makes animations they actually do it really well (see: Pregnant fairies, fairies in general, pottery, spa day massages, yoga poses) I wish they would put more effort into making more 🥺 and updating the social animations.

Why are prescription glasses so expensive 😩🥹 like yes I’m the problem because I want a decent looking frame but seriously???? I wish I didn’t need them.

Autonomy in the Sims 4 is a mess currently, cooking is stopped and sims walk half way through my big lots to talk to someone else or listen to the radio. All set tasks are also abandoned if you go in/out of Build Mode.

Autonomy in the Sims 4 is a mess currently, cooking is stopped and sims walk half way through my big lots to talk to someone else or listen to the radio. All set tasks are also abandoned if you go in/out of Build Mode.

When they were first announced, this is the kind of content I wished kits could be used for - but they aren’t because that would require new animations (which apparently is as rare and expensive as unicorn blood nowadays) so we’re stuck with just garbage

Same. And watch it be those that have nothing bad to say about EA but will have everything bad to say about this small dev team.
i am super worried for the paralives team. they are very small and gamers can be very demanding. i really hope people show them a lot of grace but i fear they won't
