The ACTU is calling for a 25% tax on all gas exports and for the tens of billions it would raise to be invested in public housing…sounds good to me…what do you reckon we should spend all the money we’d get if we stopped giving our gas away for free? #climate

Too many in media/politics frame Palestinian life only in the context of Israel & geopolitics. This not only dehumanises, it erases the richness, beauty, & diversity of Palestinian culture. This Israeli campaign of extermination is about more than the death of physical bodies.

Just wanting to signal boost this and ask you to as well (if you haven't already) This is the sort of thing that engaged progressives can put some momentum behind in conversations w friends/family who are less politically engaged. But it also helps to get the word out on a platform like this.

Progressives who talk to friends/family about how this policy would also send a strong signal to the private sector, risking everyone's wfh, will have an interested audience.
Don't assume people will hear about it otherwise.
