On Scotrail this morning. I politely asked that she remove her foot as she wouldn’t like a dirty mark on her clothes if someone else done it. She removed it and has now moved to another part of the carriage and has her foot on the seat once again.

Public services in public hands. 🙌

Scotland has a lower cancellation rate than every English region.

We must now invest in expanding the network, increasing capacity, and ensuring a reliable, affordable service is available for all. 🚆

Nigel Farage doesn’t think the Prime Minister should have free speech in this country. But he’ll tell foreigners that yours is somehow under threat from the Prime Minister. He’s a whiny little liar. Always has been. Always will be.

Got a knife pulled on me today in Thailand feeding the dogs. Not nice at all.

About as brutal a day as is possible to have. Got Thumper safely rescued at least.

These beauties have been flowering since May in Scotland . I bought them in Costco but haven’t a clue what they are but they’ve brightened up my garden.

Bats and Newts!💚🦇 ‘Hi friends 👋☺️There’s been a lot of talk about bats and newts recently, so I wanted to say something about it. We all need somewhere to live. But it should be affordable and social housing, designed with the well being of people and wildlife in mind.’ 💚

British politicians, take note. Jamie Raskin telling it the way they should.
Nigel Farage looks uncomfortable as Jamie Raskin uses his opening statement to absolutely demolish him

Why are the BBC taking farage’s spew of hate and nonsense live ? I really despair for the UK .

Exactly 10 years after Brexit - Italy that was scarcely ever a democracy prior to WWII, that had no empire to seriously speak of, that didn’t have a financial world centre like London, that’s been plagued by corruption, organised crime & regional inequalities…

…surpasses British income per head.
This is a significant moment for the UK, reported in Bloomberg: Italy's GDP per head has caught the UK.

As the article points out, this is a result of inflation, low productivity and low-skilled migration, among other things.

But underlying it all is Brexit.

The best feeling in the world

The government could easily implement Swift Bricks into people's homes - but they choose not to.

Why?

Because they couldn't give a damn about nature.

This is Stonefield Public Park in Blantyre. The grass has just been cut but as usual not one blade of it has been collected. Paths are covered in it too. How can you expect families to sit on the grass without being covered in it. This doesn’t happen in other parks

@southlanarkshire.gov.uk .
Good Morning.
Grass cut in Stonefield Public Park this morning. Can anyone explain why not one blade of grass is collected? Are the people of Blantyre not worthy of a grass collection in their park ? The pathways are covered in it and it’s only half done . What a mess.
