I've just been exposed to the AI generated Coca Cola ad and it's *bad*. Like, it almost looks like a bland, soulless animated short unless you know what to look for and then it really stands out. And this was *more expensive* than animating it conventionally would have been.

Thinking about the Johnny Bravo episode where Johnny buys a really fancy and expensive shovel and insists on using it for everything even though it inconveniences him and annoys everyone around him.

I'm firmly of the opinion that Rogue Trader should be the default setting and game experience in 40k. Sure you can have a wargame but only if it's an unloved spinoff with a cult following like BFG. RT is just so much better as a POV for experiencing the setting than "gruff bald man in armour"

Just when I thought I couldn't hate Riot any more than I already do, I find out about this shit
3 years ago today, Riot Games offered me a job making more money than I ever thought I’d make in my life. I had 19 interviews over 2.5 months to get it. Partner and I were moving to LA for it. I put in notice at my job and apartment.

This really sucks. I personally suspect they were just given a 10 year rights licence and that's expiring now, just a sad reality of our fucked up copyright system. BSG Deadlock is fantastic, if you don't have it, do get it while it's still around, it's 100% worth it.
