My elementary school is staging The Wizard of Oz as our musical this year. There are lots of costumes and sets needed to make it the experience these kids deserve. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Surprise. Elected democrats fail to do anything their constituents actually want them to do.
So tired of this song.

One of the reasons I love Louisville is because when something bad happens (like this plane crash), everyone is checking on everyone. Friends, neighbors, family…so many texts and calls checking in tonight.
It’s a crazy world but there’s still a lot of love out there.

Why can’t we have nice (easy) things?
my latest investigation for @consumerreports.org is based on months of reporting and 60+ lab tests of leading protein supplements

we found that most protein powders and shakes have more lead in one serving than our experts say is safe to have in a day (🧵)

This is your regular reminder that there is no research showing that active shooter drills save lives--and there is a wealth of research showing that they traumatize kids and staff.

I just received our school's heads-up and form for opting out our kids. If yours doesn't do the same, ask for it.

PLEASE call your Senators and Representatives and ask that they ensure HUD maintains its funding for permanent housing. I think this is something that it’s even worth your time to call Republicans about. I prefer to call local offices but the Capitol switchboard can be reached at (202) 224-3121

When this ruling came down I remember my Dad saying it was going to cause the fall of democracy. Silly me, I thought he was being dramatic but…here we are.
15 years ago the Supreme Court decided corporations are people under the First Amendment.

Today, sold-out politicians block progress on all fronts to appease their corporate donors.

Citizens United is among the worst decisions in history. It corrupts our system every day.

JUST IN | Longtime Jefferson County Clerk Bobbie Holsclaw has died. She was 81.
