Day 1: I will use this account to document the last months before I submit my doctoral dissertation. It has been a bumpy ride. I know that the majority of doctoral candidates goes through similar struggles. In the grand scheme of things, these struggles are trivial, but they are common.

One person's access to a vaccine against a highly contagious and endemic disease also protects others from the same disease, but sure, let's not use taxpayer money for things that will literally benefit us all.

The more I witness law being instrumentalized against democratic institutions, the more I am convinced that discussing about the source of legal authority is only useful to the extent that it explains how popular sovereignty relates to that source.
