This, and one more good reason: publishing is arguably the easiest way to demonstrate your command of programming to people outside academia.
This slide by @mubdi.bsky.social at #adass2025 should be on ever astronomer's wall. Software is a central part of science and should be published accordingly!

Обнадеждаваща новина за българската астрономия, макар че е рано за оптимизъм. Проблемът досега по-скоро беше не, че влизат малко, а че излизат малко.
Вчера правих беседа по работата си в университет на другия край на Монреал. Въртях 30 минути на 4-5 градуса, дъждът ме окъпа като полска мишка. Още не са ми изсъхнали ботушите, а навън праска още по-силно от вчера.. Бъдете здрави.

Вчера правих беседа по работата си в университет на другия край на Монреал. Въртях 30 минути на 4-5 градуса, дъждът ме окъпа като полска мишка. Още не са ми изсъхнали ботушите, а навън праска още по-силно от вчера.. Бъдете здрави.
