Wow, hello everyone! Guess I should make a pinned. Hi I’m Ashley I do color design, BG paint and supervision for animation! I did color & FX design on LVM s1 & 2, and I was color supervisor on Invincible s2 & 3. I also tromp around the PNW and paint occasionally.

I do the three C's: comics, covers, and characters! (also illustration, but that breaks alliteration).
As it happens I'll be available for new projects from April. Drop me a line if you have a project that could use my lines: avivor.com / avivor@gmail.com

Fionna and Cake season 2 has finished airing (😵‍💫) so I wanted to share my concepts for the end credits from each episode. The goal was for it to complement the gorgeous storybook art direction of @michaeldeforge.bsky.social 's title cards

Hey #indieanimation fans and supports and #indiecreators #indiefilm

I made a starter pack of black indie creators ( primarily Animation cuz that's what I know mostly ) that everyone should follow. Folks like to support Indie but make sure you're supporting black voices too

Yah I remember it being the thing that I was good at first time trying (or at least was genuinely praised for) so I figured I should keep going
I dunno, man, I can remember drawing as early as like three years old and I know everyone glazes toddlers, but it really seemed like all the adults around me considered me to be above-average at crayons so I kept going
With all this awful news going on i wanna ask this question once again to fellow artists and general creatives. What got YOU into art? what sparked that motivation to start writing? what made you wanna pick up a camera and start taking pics? Like share with us your reasons.

Pirate it. Boycott Netflix.

There are also homebrew DVDs you can find on sites like eBay and Etsy.

Done being subtle about it. I hate any corporation that wants to bow down to fascists and remove landmark queer shows.
‘She-Ra and the Princesses of Power’ is scheduled to leave Netflix on February 21, 2026.

Corporate Disney can kiss my ass with that OpenAI deal. Disrespecting a century of artistic legacy and creativity all for what? A quick payday? Fuck off.

Disappointed to see this. 160 union workers are fighting for a fair contract at Individualized Shirts, a US factory that makes high-end men's button-ups. The managers there have rejected the union's request for fair wages and health insurance. The union is asking for support 🧵

China really is looking more and more like the future of animation. I wish it spurred health competition here in the US. But American companies would rather outsource and acquire rather than develop talent and products of their own. Its unsustainable. I really don't know what to do some times.
