How many days a week do you usually run? 🏃‍♂️

For me, I’ve found a good balance running 5 days a week.
I try not to go more than 3 days in a row before taking a rest day as recovery is just as important as the miles!

Rest days keep my legs fresh & they help to prevent injuries.

Ironbridge Gorge in Shropshire 🇬🇧 is one of my favourite running routes near to home, and this morning was a very wet, and very muddy trail run 🍂

Absolutely loved it out there today though - a nice steady 10km, but what a huge buzz running is some days! 🏃👌

This morning, I hit my goal of running 1,000 miles in 2025 🏃
And, there are still 7 weeks left to go.
It’s incredible to think that just 3 years ago, I was over 115lb heavier and didn’t even run a single mile a year.

With the right mindset and determination, anything is possible.

There’s no better way to start off a new week than with a little movement. Whether it’s a run or a gym session, getting your heart rate up is such a powerful reset. A moment of headspace, clarity, & calm, genuinely changes the way the whole day feels☺️

This morning was a 5km threshold run 🏃‍♂️
It’s valuable to shake up the running schedule through the week and throw in these slightly quicker sessions.

Working today so sadly no Parkrun, but I still got up early and smashed a pre-breakfast 10km!

Such a perfect morning for running…quiet streets, fresh air… absolutely loved it.

Yesterday was the 'Brewers' 10km in Burton upon Trent. 🇬🇧

A mix of sunshine, wind, and a bit of rain thrown in for good measure.

Out of 1,030 runners, I finished 6th in my age category with a time of 48:17.

Not quite my best, but still a strong run & a result I’m proud of 🏃‍♂️

I’ve been making my runs a bit more interesting by chasing down Strava segments - basically turning each run into a series of sprint intervals.

Shaking up my running at the moment and started the new week with a Fartlek session.

I picked a mile loop and ran three x 800m sectors at faster-than 5K race pace.

Great way to mix it up this morning!

A few days of rest and recovery did the trick after my race at the weekend & I’m feeling refreshed and strong!

Went out today expecting some aches, but everything felt great.

Another fantastic day out in Sherwood Forest 🇬🇧 for the Rasselbock Running Autumn Run! Managed 5 laps today before some knee pain kicked in, so I decided to play it safe and call it a day.

I definitely had the energy - but the bones weren’t playing today 😂🏃

As the days get darker, it’s more important than ever to stay visible while running. 🌌✨
Think bright clothing, reflective gear, LED armbands, and head torches.

There are plenty of affordable options on Amazon, so there’s no excuse not to gear up.
