My friend made a neat tool that you can use to get a turbulence map of your flight - so you'll have an idea in advance of when things might get bumpy in the air. It's pretty cool and I use it every time I fly!

This really undercuts Swen's angry denial. This discussion is the same whiny nonsense "but we have to use it! its technology!" that we're seeing from SO MANY CEOS that are shoving AI down their employees' throats.
He admits several times its useless and STILL is committed to using it? Why?

The only thing more disappointing than Larian's CEO going 'yay AI' is people forgiving it because they made BG3.
And sure, they're not using it *as badly* as others, but:
1) Basically replacing concept artists is bad.
2) A CEO saying "everyone here is okay with it!" does not mean that it is true.

AI is just rearranging the tiles on your Scrabble rack. It's not finding interesting things, its just regurgitating what already exists. Maybe it stumbles you into a word?

This column on Vox is the biggest pile of steaming AI crap I've seen this year. Human's aren't running out of ideas. Instead, those with power and money don't want to listen to ideas that threaten their power and money.

Also fitting that none of the people here are architects, they're rich executives who are given credit for the work of many, many others. I sincerely doubt Time was trying to be that clever with it. This cover is incredibly disappointing. I don't buy Time, but if I could buy less than zero, I would.
