I'm barely ever on here but I'm not on Twitter much either. I'm mostly on Letterboxd because my partner Freya and I have been watching a few films a day this year. Add me on there if you have one.

There's this bus stop on the way to my PO box. You have to cross the road to effectively stand in a pen. There's no pavement either side. It is fascinatingly bleak.

Watched this last night. Both Freya and I were blown away by it. If you have any love for silent movies I'd seriously recommend checking it out.

A ★★★★★ review of Brand Upon the Brain! (2006)
Using old methods in bizarre combinations to create new horrors. Always had mixed feelings about Guy Maddin's other works. There's an obvious love for the techniques, tones and styles of moviemaking o...

My mom was a union organizer for 25 years. I walked picket lines of wildcat strikes with her. We used to run bake sales and trivia nights to support striking workers. You wouldn't survive 3 seconds in her vagina. It would shrivel up what's left of your balls. I miss her terribly.

Watched this last night and, gotta say, it's a war movie on par with Come and See and, idk, Lawrence of Arabia. It's so fucking good.

I mean, most of them have convinced themselves they haven't actually created an echo chamber and that the domination of fascist ideals is the natural consequence of "free speech" being allowed.
The left are perfectly happy for the right to have a social media echo chamber, like twitter. The right, however, simply cannot allow the left to have their own space to discuss and share their beliefs and ideas because they know full well how quickly the tide turns when they aren't in control.

Poor Shamima Begum, should have gotten in on the HTS rebrand then they'd have to let her return to the UK.

Always fun when a movie makes you reflect on your own weird creative endeavours.

Russian air strikes but no mention of the American ones. Interesting.
Always find it interesting how no link is drawn between stories on #r4today🤔

-Russian air strikes in Syria
-Famine & ethnic cleansing in Darfur

-Refugees seek safety in the UK which provides exactly no safe route for anyone escaping those places to reach us 🤔🤔🤔
