I build products to help accessibility consultants be badass and for disabled people to not spend so much energy simply living.

Accessibility specialist, Neurodivergent, Entrepreneur, Tibetan Buddhist
Honestly feeling if I wanted to infect humanity with a consciousness virus. ChatGpt5 is the one. Basically makes you type 'yes' all day, it's a dopamine gambling machine.

Okay, ten years of trying to understand why my #ADHD self has a better job getting up at 5:30am than 8am and I found out in my half day Ayuveda workshop, this is a known human experience.

Are we Neurodivergent folk simply more sensitive to the rhythms of the earth?

The great "#ADHD tax" = forgetting and loosing your bitcoin password so you couldn't sell in 2017's All time high.

The great "ADHD WIN" = finding your bitcoin password 8 years later, so you can sell at this years ATH.

And here was me ignorantly thinking tax had no return.

We get disengaged and start interacting with humans?

Human mistakes make us interesting.

How boring did football become when we introduced cameras to help make decisions for referees to ensure pinpoint accuracy?

We hated drama. Then hated the absence of it.

39.8k questions answered on #Accessibility

God, building and sending this around feels like a teeny tiny drop in the ocean and a push-back on global events and anti-disability rhetorics.

Make learning about inclusion more inclusive.

Making it addictive, that could be a good thing, right? 😅

New features for a11yconsultant.com

I’m experimenting with learning styles and techniques; like space learning and calculating what areas you need to focus to pass exams.

It’s a super helpful exam, gives a good foundation. Just a bit hard to navigate!

This looks like the start of something very useful indeed...

Do you have trouble finding assistive technology?

What about simple technology that will actually just help you on a day to day life?

Like cooking? Did you know there's soup makers that blend, cook soup in 21 minutes and are easy to clean? Perfect for down days!

Have a look!

This but me hard last week while in hospital.

I rated my headache a 2-3 out of 10.

Impacting the damaged nerves in my tailbone is a 10.

My gallstones were a 5-6.

Turns out it was a migraine level headache. Whoops.
I can tell a patient is autistic because you ask what their pain is from 1-10 while they're in excruciating pain from kidney stones and they're like "this is entirely subjective, how would I even know what a 10 feels like if I've never experienced it?" and every neurotypical person just tells you 11

Interesting.

freespoons.co.uk has made about £4 so far in affiliate sales in a week.

Half the income hasn’t come from listed products;

If someone goes on Amazon through your link but buys something entirely different like a plant pot.

You earn from that!

I'm determined to collect data to disprove myth once and for all

DISABLED PEOPLE DON'T HAVE MONEY

We do. We're buying products to overcome challenges. We're problem solvers.

Research showed many products people bought were not 'assistive'. Companies do not know there's a whole demographic

3 questions to ask before starting a design project:
- What are the measures of success?
- How will the users benefit from this project?
- What can go wrong, and how can I mitigate the risk?

I had to build a chrome extension to remove articles from the @bbcnewsnight.bsky.social home page that contain 'Musk' or 'Farage'.

I don't want to have to filter through nonsense to find useful news. It's free and open source:

People complain about the Labour government's economic decisions. Time will tell. It's early days for me to have any judgement on them.

All I know is me and my colleagues can get a drs appointment for the first time in 5 years.

The way London rent and housing is going; "Shared ownership" becomes the new way to "rent" because it's far cheaper per month than renting

We'll basically all need to invest a "deposit" to live / work in London.

Huge economic disparity.
