A lot of masc ppl always want to be seen as the provider and don’t know what that entails entirely. It’s really irresponsible to want to be the provider, resent the person for it and then not say anything. I wish more ppl would be honest with themselves.
We have to develop ourselves and feel at ease with our partners. We have to have that conversation about what is what and what we need from each other. That pride will fuck you up every time.
Like, if she needed me to work I would have. I did. But because she didn’t feel comfortable voicing that a lot of things became my fault. Smh. I’m very particular about relationships and money partially because of that. I need your relationship with money to be healthy or I don’t feel secure.
