Adding to this, the more areas of life where you can make it beneficial for a little to self-babify the better, if I decide to express my anger as a tantrum and call my caregiver a meanie poo poo head or a dummy instead of a naughty word, then I get soothed and shushed rather than spanked >.<

Every time your little asks for something, pick a number between 1 and 12 based on how much you think they deserve it, give them a number of stars based on how they asked and get them to roll a D12 die, if they get the number or higher, they get what they asked for.
