Can’t believe it has been 10 years since I first raised the Maple Leaf at the Canadian residence in Oslo. It was a tremendous honour to serve Canada in Norway as Ambassador. Will always be grateful to all the people who I worked with and to the people of Norway for welcoming us.

I go on a daily morning walk in a quiet Ottawa suburb that passes through Sir Robert Borden school. Monday’s planned protest at the school has been moved, but today there was a security presence reminiscent of increased security at Canadian Jewish schools and community centres.
