On the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, I remember all the victims of École Polytechnique. We must remain focused on ending gender based violence.

Can’t believe it has been 10 years since I first raised the Maple Leaf at the Canadian residence in Oslo. It was a tremendous honour to serve Canada in Norway as Ambassador. Will always be grateful to all the people who I worked with and to the people of Norway for welcoming us.

Great seeing some old bands from the 1980s last night.

Good meeting with members of the Jewish and Christian faith communities. As a gay, atheist Jew, I found the conversations interesting and engaging. Appreciate the allyship from so many different communities.

Have had the privilege of working with Irwin #Cotler over many years. As he faces the awful threats from the regime governing Iran, am thinking of his courage and determination to fight for justice, human rights & against all forms of discrimination including #antisemitism.
