EcoのThe Mysterious Flame of Queen Loanaをゆっくりゆっくり、数ページずつ読んでいる。記憶喪失した老人の話だが、読んだ本の記憶だけは残っているという設定。もう身につまされることばかり(とりわけ、陰嚢が痒くてボリボリ掻くあたりの描写が秀逸)。これを読んでいると、引喩(allusion)の技法というものを必然的に考えることになる。↓
