Blue Sky seems to be a great place for every artist except me or something lmao. Maybe I don't spam art enough, maybe I just suck, but I'd be lying if I said I'm not envying folks getting better engagement here than over on twitter.

I don't completely disagree with this but my belief is that you cannot retreat away from those kinds of people - you need to at least keep a watch on them. Ignoring the problem does not help, can (and will) make it worse. They are like a cancer.
“It’s important not to have this place be an echo chamber” is something that sounds correct but falls apart when you realize it actually means pretending arguments done in bad faith are genuine. It’s the “I’m just asking questions” of social media
