I mentioned buying a different kind of soju the other day. The brand is Hanjan. While I appreciate trying something new and different, I think I'm going to stick with the Soon Hari. It just tastes better. Much better. But they both help me break the wall in my mind so I can #write. #writer #writing

No, I didn't buy a Buzzball just because I thought the little jar would be aesthetically pleasing in watercolor videos. I also bought it because @benstarr.bsky.social got multiple of them in the Dead Take mystery drink video ;)

I had chicken noodle soup for lunch. Because it's cold with freezing rain outside. I am now ready to food coma. I should nap, but know I won't because it's only two hours until my Zoom sprints. Gotta get those words in :D

You can't see a huge difference in today's work, but I got a clear coat on to seal in the decals, primed the flags and darked down the scenery a little so there will be more contrast once I add the snow.

You can't see a huge difference in today's work, but I got a clear coat on to seal in the decals, primed the flags and darked down the scenery a little so there will be more contrast once I add the snow.

Just passed 2k words for the night, and a manuscript total of just over 26k for the month. I'm not done writing...the words are still shoving up against the dam in my mind, with its tiny cracks that let a few words out at a time.

Okay, so the passion fruit soju is...interesting? It's a bit more sour than I expected. The Soon Hari brand is sweet...at least the ones I normally drink. And it tasted vaguely medicinal?

I went on my weekly Soju run this morning (well, I was on a dispensary run, but the liquor store is across the street. And they had a new brand with new flavors! Lychee, passion fruit, and a ton more! I bought two of the Soon Nami (my regular) in flavors I know I like, and a spread of new ones.

I went on my weekly Soju run this morning (well, I was on a dispensary run, but the liquor store is across the street. And they had a new brand with new flavors! Lychee, passion fruit, and a ton more! I bought two of the Soon Nami (my regular) in flavors I know I like, and a spread of new ones.
It is strange just how helpful the zoom sprints have been in writing. I'm going to miss them when #NovNov is finished. I may have to see when #ProWritingAid's normal sprints are.

I ran out of purified water yesterday, so slept without the humidifier. This morning? I coughed my lungs out. I promptly went to the store and got more water. I didn't realize how much it was helping until it wasn't :)

It is a testament to how messed up my sleep schedule is when waking at 2 a.m. feels like sleeping in.

Smelly cat...AKA Buddy...is curled up in front of the furnace vent. He has a perpetual odor wafting from him. It's...fragrant. Putting it nicely (his smell is a holdover from his stray days...his butt still leaks a little bit. But he's warm, safe, and loved. WE put up with a little poop)

Eating fried tofu this morning. I've been trying to find veg that I don't react poorly to...so we'll see how this goes. It's tasty...lightly fried with a splash of soy sauce and furikake. Not bad. Would eat again :)

Apparently a late-morning nap was a good idea. Getting more words out than I expected...several hundred more than average. So yay :D Maybe there's something to this napping!

I bought a pair of humidifiers (one for bedroom, one for plants) It has a pretty nightlight! I'm hoping it helps with my persistent allergies and dry mouth. I wake up bone-dry, and cough myself into vomiting because of nasal drip...that starts once I wake up. Ugh.

Joking about being forgetful hits so fucking hard after watching my dad forget everything about who he was. I'm terrified of dementia or alzheimers, and losing myself in nothingness. I'm still spiraling from the 'joking' yesterday. Sometimes I feel like I'm just a punchline. Or punching bag.
