I have been trying for YEARS to get my mother to stop buying us anything. Instant guilt-trip if we don't get her anything. Planning to bake cookies and send them to her.

I'm not sure I ever really came out to my family...but when my gf transitioned and I didn't bat an eye, they figured out I wasn't straight (and thankfully accepted her as well) I saw how they treated my uncle when he came out, so I never did officially. I'm NC will most of them now.

Oh, I like that! The one I had tonight was Choco-Tease, but some of the others have bright colors that would absolutely look like potions! And the right kind of bottle :D

Gotta agree with 'Muti's comment that it's kind of rude to ask about their gender and sexuality. I will admit I was glad to see someone ask their pronouns though, out of wanting to respect them.

I feel the same way every time I pick up a pencil or paintbrush. Never feel like I can capture them. They are transcendent.
