I’ve been going back through JFK (masterpiece) and I don’t know how I missed this but “X” is given his orders from his superior who is wearing Jeff Lynn rockstar-interview sun glasses in his own office so um. So there’s that.

This whole evening has been one of the more memorable skies of this year. All of the colors swirling /ebbing and then, finally, fading into blue-grey-black.

I’m genuinely surprised that they’re not getting up and walking out. What a fool. What an embarrassment to the United States.

Dave’s last episode for NBC. He goes to GE to drop a basket of fruit as a gesture of goodwill. GE owned NBC at the time.

I was an extra on Old Man and the Gun in 2018. i sat pretty close to Robert Redford (and Sissy Spacek) all day in a diner for a scene. It was an absolute treat to hear them chitchat between takes. At one point they were discussing the merits of gummy bear melatonin.

36 years ago in 1989 the Stones made the cover of Time and the headline includes “Aging stars”.

The Cars’ most popular song is “Drive”. The Cars. Drive. I don’t think we collectively have given The Cars enough credit for how funny it is that they wrote a song called “Drive” or ourselves enough credit for it being their biggest hit.

I saw someone post this kind of breakdown so I wanted to make my own. It’s interesting how solid season three was (imho). Short Fuse would have ranked higher but Roddy McDowall’s performance is truly grating throughout. #columbo

I love Roger Miller and I love this song so I decided to take a stab at it. My son helped me record and mix it. I am happy with how it turned out. Hope you enjoy.
