I was an extra on Old Man and the Gun in 2018. i sat pretty close to Robert Redford (and Sissy Spacek) all day in a diner for a scene. It was an absolute treat to hear them chitchat between takes. At one point they were discussing the merits of gummy bear melatonin.

Apparently cassettes can sell for big money these days. Here’s an example. I never thought cassettes would have this kind of collector pull. I definitely wouldn’t guess that a Blink 182 tape would fetch over a grand.
