And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Add homelessness, hunger, unaffordable healthcare (including dental and vision), underfunded schools, and on and on. Almost every societal ill is the result of defunding programs that addressed them in favor of tax cuts for billionaires and corporations.
Poverty is a policy choice. Concentrated wealth is a policy choice. Inequality is a policy choice. None of it is natural or inevitable. Remember: We have the power to build a system that serves the many, not the powerful few.
