Earlier this month our WRI Research Station hosted the 5th Annual Arkansas ArcheOlympics! We had 8 teams competing for the 3D printed trophy & the ATU Dirt Nerds took it home! Congratulations to all of the archeoletes & many thanks to the Survey staff and other volunteers who helped with the games.

The staff & volunteers at our HSU Research station have completed the inventory of artifacts that the station holds in their curation facility. Their inventory includes 1,892,568 objects totaling 8,113,687.6 g (~17,887 lbs), & includes everything from microdebitage & charred seeds to a dugout canoe.
